Just had my 2015 VW Golf serviced here. It was running fine but was making a loud, non-engine whirring noise at higher speeds, especially noticeable on the highway. Thought it might be the tires but that was not the case. I could only imagine the "diagnostics" and their corresponding costs (never mind the potential repair costs) at a dealer. I brought the car to Prestige without an appointment. Torsten, the owner, immediately said "let's take it for a test drive" and off we went. We never even made it to the freeway because he detected the problem immediately. It was the left front wheel bearing. I left the car with him and he had it back to me the next day for a very reasonable price and running like a top. Torsten is an excellent mechanic and takes the time to listen to you. You are explaining your issues directly to the person who will fix them. It is so much better than trying to explain your problem to a "service coordinator" at a dealer. I cannot recommend Torsten and Prestige Autohaus more highly.

I have taken my Ferrari to Torsten ever since I purchased it three years ago. This last time, I had the alternator/steering/water pump belt break so he repaired that issue along with two other issues he found during the service. He kept in communication with me as he had to order a variety of parts that come from different sources. It is great to have an independent exotic car mechanic in Walnut Creek as going to a Ferrari dealer in either Mill Valley or Redwood CIty is very painful.
